Warranty Policy


Dawnerz warrants that its products are free from defects in material and workmanship based on the warrant periods listed below.

We offer a standard 30-day warranty for all our products. Clients who register their products within this initial period will automatically receive an extended 90-day warranty from the date of purchase. To register your product(s), please follow this link, or alternatively, you can submit an email to to request your warranty registration.

Please note that if the product is not registered within 30 days from the date of purchase, the warranty, which covers free replacements for quality-related issues, will expire automatically.

The Warranty covers only manufacturing defects, it does not cover any cases caused due to misuse.

Replaced items shall be covered by the original warranty period.

The Warranty for aesthetic imperfections of the product, (such as strap webbing, sewing defects etc.) is only valid if the product has not been used. The Warranty does not cover a claim for aesthetic defects for used products.

To make a claim under the Warranty, you must ship the defective product to the address we provided, together with the original proof of purchase or receipt.

Each Dawnerz product has a branded, sewn-in tag, indicating the unique serial number of the product. If the returned product does not have this tag (or a part of it, where the serial number of the product is indicated), the Warranty will not apply to the product, respectively, a free replacement will not be possible.

Only the person who purchased the product, or the person who registered the Warranty, is eligible to apply for a claim under the Warranty.

To make a warranty claim, please complete the appropriate form here and provide at least one photo/video supporting the evidence of the defect or issue and a photo of a branded sewn-in tag with a unique serial number of the product (this is a prerequisite).

Once your claim is received and reviewed, we will send you an email to notify you of our approval. We will then need you to ship us your product.

The client is responsible for covering the expenses associated with both the return of the defective product and the subsequent shipment of the replacement. If an exact replacement is out of stock, we will offer you available product closest in properties to the original or we will process a full refund back to the same payment method used on the original order.

  • Any claims or damages related to misuse, neglect, accident, act of God, overloading beyond recommended capacity, improper attachment or treatment of the product, or any failure that is not the result of a manufacturing defect.
  • If the product has been repaired.
  • Any claims made by someone other than the original owner.
  • Replacement due personal preference e.g., color, size, weight, and the likes.
  • Reasonable aging that only affects the appearance and not the function of the product.
  • Normal and foreseeable wear and tear.
  • Lost or stolen items.
  • Costs incurred via third-party repairs or replacements.
  • Products that are used in competitive events.
  • Product purchased as “used” or “open box”.
  • If there is no sewn-in branded tag on the strap (or a part of it, where the serial number of the product is indicated).

Training, Inspection Requirements, and Removal from Service Criteria



The following points summarize some important safety issues. All sling users shall be trained in the following areas:

  • Sling Selection: Understand the limitations of each sling type and its associated components and materials.
  • Sling Inspection: Understand how to properly inspect slings, so damaged slings can immediately be removed from service.
  • Prevention of Sling Damage: Know how to prevent sling damage, including how to properly protect slings from being cut or damaged from direct contact with corners, edges, protrusions or abrasive surfaces.
  • Proper Use of Slings: Each sling user shall be competent in considering all risk factors prior to using a sling and be able to verify that each sling will not be loaded in excess of its rated capacity.
  • Remaining Alert When Lifting Loads: Whenever using slings, all personnel shall be trained to remain alert and stand clear of any lifted load or possible path of danger in the event of sling failure.
  • Proper Storage of Slings: Users should know where to store slings in an environment where they will not become damaged by exposure to heat, chemicals, UV light degradation, environmental and/or mechanical damage.

Users should read, understand and follow the information provided by the manufacturer, as well as all applicable Provincial, State, Federal, OSHA Regulations and ASME B30 Guidelines.

3 stage inspection guidelines

1. Initial Inspection - Prior to use, all new, altered, modified or repaired web slings shall be inspected by a designated person to verify compliance with the applicable provisions of this chapter.

2. Frequent Inspection - In normal service conditions, a visual
inspection for damage shall be performed by the user or other designated person each day or shift before the sling is used. In severe service conditions, a visual inspection for damage shall be performed by the user or other designated person before each use.

3. Periodic Inspection - A complete inspection for damage shall be performed by a designated person. This inspection should be done by someone other than the individual(s) who most commonly perform the frequent inspection.

The frequency of periodic inspections should be based on:

  • Frequency of sling use.
  • Severity of service conditions.
  • Nature of lifts being made.
  • Experience gained on service life of slings used in similar circumstances.

Time interval guidelines

  • Normal Service - Yearly
  • Severe Service - Monthly to quarterly
  • Special Service - As recommended by a qualified person


Refer to the Synthetic Web Sling Safety Bulletin (WSSB-1) from 2010 for the following removal criteria:

The entire web sling must be inspected regularly.

It shall be removed from service if ANY of the following are detected:

  • If sling identification tag is missing or not readable.
  • Holes, tears, cuts, snags, or embedded materials.
  • Broken or worn stitches in the load-bearing splices.
  • Knots in any part of the sling webbing.
  • Acid or alkali burns.
  • Melting, charring, or weld spatter on any part of the web sling.
  • Excessive abrasive wear or crushed webbing.
  • Signs of ultraviolet (UV) light degradation.
  • Distortion, excessive pitting, corrosion, or other damage to fitting(s).
  • If provided, exposed red core yarn. However, if damage is present and red yarns are not exposed DO NOT USE the sling.
  • Any conditions which cause doubt as to the strength of the web sling.
