Before Every Use
Inspect full shackle for:

Cuts, abrasion, or fibre damage

Sleeve damage or displacement

Deformation at knot or splice areas
-
UV degradation, stiffness, or soft spots
-
Contamination (oil, grit, metal particles)
-
Missing or unreadable identification tag
If any defect is found → remove from service immediately
Safe Use Requirements

Load must be applied only through rated body sections

Connection points must be smooth and rounded
-
Sleeves must fully protect contact areas
-
No side loading or twisting under tension

Maintain clear zone during recovery
Inspections are essential to maintain a safe recovery component. As well as inspections, proper cleaning and storage are just as important.
